1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport. For applicants who used to be Chinese citizens but later immigrated to other countries, the Document No.83 (2009) of Ministry of Education of the PRC shall apply.
2. A Master's Degree program applicant should hold a Bachelor diploma and be under the age of 35.
3. Language Proficiency requirements:
English-taught programs applicants need to submit English proficiency certificate (English native speakers are exempted). TOFEL: no less than 80, IELTS: no less than 6.0. (English native speakers are exempted)

*1. A study or research plan
Applicants who apply for Master or Doctoral program must provide a study or research plan of no less than 800 words in English or Chinese.
*2. Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.
*3. Certificate of Bachelor degree
Certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization. Both original and official English translated version are required.
*4. Academic Transcripts of Bachelor degree
Academic Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization. Both original and official English translated version are required.
*5. English proficiency certificate
*6. Non-criminal Record Certificate (Generally, it is valid for 3 or 6 months)
It must be issued by your local police station with official stamp.
*7. Two recommendation letters
Applicants who apply for Master’s program need to submit two recommendation letters in English or Chinese from two professors or associate professors.

*9. Physical Examination Form(only valid for 6 months)
Please take it to hospital to have a checkup with all items, including personal information, photo, checking date, doctors' suggestion and signature.

12. Supporting Documents: Certificate of Good Conduct
Provided by your current/previous school/company in Chinese/English to improve your success rate.

Tips:
For applicants who are in China: If you are an employee, you still need to provide employment separation certificate and your current residence permit. If you are a student, you need to provide transfer certificate, leaving certificate, certificate of attendance rate issued by previous school and your current residence permit. - How to Apply
