Program Description
Instruction:
Instruction is divided into elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels. Students are arranged according to the results of Chinese placement test at the beginning of the semester. Class size is approximately fifteen students per class. Normally class hours are from Monday to Friday, 4 academic hours per day, 20 academic hours per week.
Upon completion of the program students will receive a certificate and an official transcript. The program is normally one semester long, but students could apply for extension of their study period to at most four semesters in accumulation.Course Setting
1. Chinese language Courses: Speaking, Listening, Reading and Comprehensive Chinese
2. Chinese Cultural Courses: Tai Chi, Martial Arts, Calligraphy, Chinese Painting, Papercutting, Chinese Cuisine, Chinese Song
3. Optional Courses: HSK Level 4-6, Business Chinese
4. Extra-curricular Activities: City Tour in Tianjin, Campus Cultural Activities.
Note:
Language student can only book single room, which is 60 RMB /day /person
Live in off-campus is allowed
On-campus dorm for Spring semester student basically ran out already
If the student chose to book on-campus accommodation, they can know if the room is available before the Chinese New Year
If the room ran out, the student will need to rent the off-campus by themselvesElementary Chinese courses are mainly in English.

1. Choose to "book the on-campus accommodation" during application
2. Suggest the student to live in hotel for few days during registration

*1. Passport-sized photo
A passport-sized photo taken recently of the applicant.
2. Applicants for one academic year must submit scan of Certificate of Non-Criminal Records.

Scan of Pre-graduation Certificate is required if the applicants have not gained degree certificate before the application deadline. Please resubmit the original highest diploma or original notarized diploma before registration
Certificate in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization. Both original and official English translated version are required.*4. Scan of notarized copy of the academic transcripts.
Applicants who will not graduate before the application deadline must provide their current academic transcript. In this case, the completed academic transcripts must be submitted before registration.
Academic Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English should be translated into Chinese or English and be certified by notarization. Both original and official English translated version are required.*5. Photocopy of passport within the validity period.
With name, passport number & expiration date, and photo included(Photocopy of valid passport identification page. Passport must be an ordinary passport and be valid for at least six months. Applicants currently residing in China must include a copy of the page containing a valid visa or residence permit.)
*6. Study Experience Resume
The start and end time of each education experience must be uninterrupted, and education level should start from senior middle school.

The medical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Please select the appropriate time to have medical examination as the medical results have a 6-month validity.
